Figures in the Franchise Index — total investment ranges, franchise fees, royalties, unit counts — are compiled from public sources, including franchisor disclosures, franchise-industry publications, and company statements. We round figures deliberately, both for honest comparability and because precise numbers change with every annual FDD update. Every dataset carries its last-updated date.
Treat everything here as a shortlisting tool. The only authoritative source for a franchise's current costs is its Franchise Disclosure Document, which franchisors are legally required to provide before you sign or pay anything. Our FDD guide shows you how to read one efficiently.
Spot an outdated figure? The Index is updated weekly, and franchisor teams are welcome to submit current Item 5/6/7 figures for their listing — corrections with FDD backing are prioritized.
